Concerts, possibility of hail and cheap(er) gas.

1. Canton's Commission is set to meet at 7 p.m. today at the Cherry Hill School, 50440 Cherry Hill.

2. This week's concert, at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in Windsor Park, (north of Warren Road and west of Morton Taylor Road) features oldies by the band Fairview.

3. A few dozen customers remain without power — and the National Weather Service has called for a few minor thunderstorms to roll through, some of which may cause hail.

4. Normally each day this column includes news and links to Canton stations with the lowest price-per-gallon of gas. for a $3.74. But today, www.gasbuddy.com refers us to the BP at Joy and Merriman roads in Westland, where gas costs 17 cents less.  

5. The fifth season of the Canton Color Tour begins at 7 p.m. Friday with the first notes of music  from vocalist from Sheila Landis and Brazilian Love Affair" in the Ford Road Kohl’s parking lot.
