1. No Room at the Inn Display

A unique display of nativity scenes (on loan from private collections) are on display after morning mass, 1:30 to 4:30 and after evening mass, 5:30 to 7 tonight at . Visitors are asked to make a donation to benefit programs to help the homeless though the St. Vincent dePaul Society.

The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and St. John Neumann Parish coordinated the display.

2. Meet the Greyhounds

Volunteers from GreyHeart Greyhound Rescue are hosting a meet-and-greet for dogs who need new homes, This event is set to begin at noon at , 43465 Ford Rd. (But for the sake of the dog and its new owner, please don't surprise anyone with a pet this season.)

3. See The Nutcracker

Dawnell Dryja, a Canton native and a dancer for the Grand Rapids Ballet, is set perform as a guest at 2 p.m. today Dec. 4 , a coproduction by Michigan Philharmonic and the Plymouth Canton Ballet Company at Salem High School 46181 Joy Rd. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for children.

A Sugar Plum Parade will take place following the performances, where audience members are invited to meet the dancers on stage. Parade tickets are $3 per person.
