A lovely Sweetest Day outing (which benefits Partnership for the Arts) at , 50400 Cherry Hill Rd.: Danny D and the Vagabonds celebrate the music of Rod Stewart. 3. Zumbathon for Cancer Research
A , "Good Things Come in Small Packages," is hosting a Zumbathon in the Grand Ballroom at , beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, according to a note from Good Things member Amber Camiller.
Volunteers Melissa Nori, Melissa Laing and Derica Wade will lead participants in high-energy Latin-inspired dance moves. Proceeds from the suggested $10 entrance fee will benefit the American Cancer Society. 4. Starfish Parenting Class
Early Learning Foundation creator Bob Sornson will be the featured speaker for a Starfish Family Services session on parenting, set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Ericksson Elementary School, 1275 N. Haggerty Rd. Starfish is an Inkster-based nonprofit which provides support to at-risk children in metro Detroit, including more than 100 Headstart participants in Canton.
