1. Plymouth High Football

It's spirit week at — the big homecoming game is Friday, when the Wildcats face . Tailgate parties start at 4 p.m. Friday at Canton High's parking lot.

Today, high school fans and scouts can check out games played by the freshman team, at 4:30 p.m. today and junior varsity team, at 7 tonight, on the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park turf field.

2. Salvation Army Bell Ringers

If you've ever thought about helping the by ringing a bell near one of those red buckets during the holidays, learn more during an open house set for 2 p.m. today at the The Salvation Army, 9451 S Main St., Plymouth. Free.

3. 'Masters of Motown' Deal

Tickets are still available to see the Masters of Motown show at the at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets cost $30 at www.cantonvillagetheater.org but you'll save $5 if you use coupon code MTOWN.

4. Gas: $2.99

5: Plan: P-CEP 'Gathering on the Gridiron'

The Canton- football game is being showcased with an alumni event. All former students are invited to attend. The pre-game gathering is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 21, just outside the varsity stadium at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park.

Gathering on the Gridiron tickets cost $5 and include food and entertainment. Buy them in advance (only about 189 are left) at the district office, 454 S. Harvey, Plymouth, or online through the district's website. Game tickets will be sold separately at the varsity stadium.
