1. Canton Farmers Market
An assortment of homegrown greens, fruits — think melons, apples, pears and raspberries — pumpkins and cider can be found at today's Canton Farmers Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Preservation Park, 500 N. Ridge Rd. Mark Reitenga is scheduled to perform on the Bartlett-Travis porch.
2. Alexander Zonjic Concert
A benefit for the Southeast Michigan Flute Association at features a performance by flutist Alexander Zonjic and Friends. Doors open at 2 p.m. for a silent auction followed by the 3 p.m. concert and reception. Tickets cost $25 for general admission; $20 for seniors and students; and $15 for SEMFA members. 3. Open Chess Play at Canton Library
Avid chess player Tim Heller is scheduled to host an open chess session at 1 p.m. at , 1200 S. Canton Center Rd. This free session is open to all ages. Beginners can get instructions; those who love the game can find a skilled opponent.

4. Gas: $3.26
The at 41350 Ford Rd. is selling gas for $3.26 a gallon — the lowest price in town, according to GasBuddy.com.
5. Plan: Rep. Kurt Heise
