1. Proctor Road Closing

Beginning at 9 a.m. today, Proctor Road will be closed west of Denton for sewer work — this is a weather-permitting project, according to the township engineering department's statement. Proctor Road should reopen by Friday. For questions, call  734-394-5150.

2. Canton Patch Facebook

3. Consumer Expo

Canton Chamber of Commerce hosts the Consumer Expo from 5 to 7 tonight at , 46000 Summit Parkway. The chamber will showcase Canton businesses and award door prizes. Free.

4. Gas: $3.53

Two stations in Canton are selling gas for $3.53 a gallon, according to Thursday morning GasBuddy.com reports: , 44431 Michigan Ave. and , 45495 Michigan Ave.

5. Plan Ahead: Young Professionals

The next mixer for Canton Young Professionals is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Sept. 28 — the place hasn't been announced. Visit the CYP's Facebook page for details.
