1. Job Leads

in Canton has job openings. Interviews are set for 3 to 5 p.m. today and Thursday at the Canton location, 6481 N. Canton Center Rd. Visit Jungle Java to download an application, and bring it with you to the interview. No calls, according to a note sent to Canton Patch. The openings are "perfect job for high schoolers, college students, and stay-at-home-moms looking to work just while the kids are in school," the shop's note said.

And, by the way, did you know the church hosts a Career Connections group every other week? They meet at 6:30 tonight, at the church, 555 S. Lilley Rd.. Discussion includes every aspect of job hunting. Free.

2. Make-A-Wish Fundraiser

Cold Stone Creamery hosts its 10th annual Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Plymouth Whalers are scheduled to be scooping at the Novi store, 44175 W. 12 Mile Rd. from 6 to 8 tonight.

3. Helping Girls on the Run

Only four days left to vote for Girls on the Run of Southeast Michigan in the Art Van Charity Challenge.

4. Gas: $3.28

Two stations are selling gas for $3.28 a gallon, accoding to Tuesday morning reports from GasBuddy.com: , 45350 Ford Rd. and , 41350 Ford Rd.

5. Plan Ahead: Rosh Hashanah

High holy day services to celebrate Rosh Hashanah are set for 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday at , 321 S. Ridge Rd.
