What every Plymouth resident should know today.

1. Plan ahead: Saturday is Barktoberfest

Prep your pooch because Saturday is along Liberty Street in Plymouth's Old Village. The event includes a dog walk and pet-related vendors. Day-of-event registration is $25; early registration has already passed. Check-in is 9-9:45 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m. The event benefits Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue  and the Old Village.

2. Comcast has career open house

Looking for work?

Comcast will have a career open house from 11 a.m-7 p.m. Friday at its regional headquarters, 41112 Concept Drive in Plymouth Township, from the company.

Comcast is looking for candidates to fill positions for Call Center Representatives, Technical Support, Technical Support Specialist, Communication Technicians (Installers), Direct Sales Representatives and Finance Analysts.
