3. Plymouth Fall Festival begins today

September is upon us and with it comes the start of fall. Celebrate it this weekend with the , beginning in today from noon-11 p.m. and continuing 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

5. Tomorrow: 9/11 commemorative hockey game at Compuware Arena

The Detroit Moose Hockey Club will take on Ameriprise at 5 p.m. Saturday at to pay tribute to victims of 9/11. The game is free. For more details, visit www.detroitmoose.org. Former Detroit Red Wing Joe Kocur will play for the Moose while former NHL player Wayne Presley will suit up for Ameriprise.
