1. Catch a Classical Concert

The Michigan Philharmonic, with special guest composer Gabriela Lena Frank, is set to present Musica delas Americas at the at 2 p.m. today.

This concert showcases the works of Cuban master Ernesto Lecuona; Brazil's Heitor Villa Lobos and Mexico's Silvestre Revueltas as well as Argnetinian composer Alberto Ginastera.

2. Canton Library's Stuff the Truck

, 1200 S. Canton Center Rd., again hosts its Stuff the Truck campaign for the Canton-based Detroit Area Diaper Ban on Wednesday and Thursday.

You can help by providing donations of money or disposable diapers for children or adults.

3. Contest deadlines

You have until midnight to enter Patch's . The prize: two tickets to Wednesday's premiere fo this new movie. 

It's also the last day to enter Shop Canton's contest with Magic 105.1 Shop Star Contest. The prize for this winner is a $1,000 Shop Canton Shopping Spree.

4. Happy anniversary, Direct Optical

3. Furlough Day

The , Canton Public Safety's records bureau,  and  administrative offices and ordinance enforcement unit will be closed Monday for a furlough. Township offices reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police, fire and emergency services will operate normally, as will leisure services programs outside the township administration building.
