    Why Go: Walk down memory lane with this presentation from Greg Tasker, author of the book Sanders Confectionery. Plus, local candy shops , and will be doling out treats.

  • Where/When: , Friday, 7:30 p.m.
    Why Go: You don't have to wait for summer and Concerts in the Park to see this lively band, which is performing for free this week at the historic Penn Theatre.
    Pricing: Free


  • Where/When: , Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.
    Why Go: Plymouth's only community theater group is performing a British comedy that pits a young artist up against electricity, his fiancee and his ex-girlfriend, all in one evening. Show runs until Feb. 27.
    Pricing: $16 general admission, $14 for students and seniors


  • Where/When: Cady-Boyer Barn in Canton, Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
    Why Go: Find some fresh produce and local items at Canton's first-ever Winter Farmers Market this Sunday. Plymouth's own will have a booth, as will a number of other great local businesses.

  • Where/When: , Sunday, 2-4 p.m.
    Why Go: Come hear an all-string orchestra concert in the chapel at the historic St. John's Seminary. The concert will feature Dr. Dave Wagner of WRCJ-FM on the organ and PSO Concertmaster Anicka Skalova on Vivaldi's "The Seasons."
