Where/When: Phoenix Theatres at Laurel Park Place in Livonia on Friday at midnight.

Why Go: The in Northville has arranged a 12:01 a.m. screening of the new movie Scream 4, which was partially filmed at the store as well as in parts of downtown Plymouth.

Where/When: on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why Go: Bring the kids and come out the Summit Grand Ballroom today to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny. There will be a breakfast buffet which includes beverages, eggs, pancakes and french toast, pastries, and sausage. Kids will also get to meet the bunny and be entertained by live strolling entertainment.

Pricing: $15 ages 13 and up; $10 ages 4-12; $4 ages 3 and under

Where/When: in Northville on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Why Go: This show is part of the theatre's 2011 Classic Storybook Season. Come revisit this familiar story of two children who get lost in the woods and find a house made of candy.

Where/When: in Canton on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Why Go: Bring your kids (up to age 11) out to Heritage Park for an Easter Eggstravaganza. This egg hunt will have two age categories and run continuously to make sure every child finds some eggs.

Why Go: Stop by the Plymouth Coffee Bean to meet local author Holly Skelton as she will be signing copies of her new children's book, Perfect You.
