Haunted Halloween Block Party, Wicked Halloween Run Are Today

Halloween events promise to scare up fun in Plymouth.

Two Halloween events promise to keep Plymouth in the Halloween spirit today.

Plymouth's Old Village is scaring up some fun today with its sixth annual Halloween Haunted Block Party from 12-4 p.m. on Liberty Street between Mill Street and Starkweather.

There will be costume contests for kids, pets and adults, as well as kiddie train rides, trick-or-treating, the Pumpkin Tower of Death, 50/50 raffle and pumpkin bowling.

Early risers can don a costume and some running shoes for the Wicked Halloween Run at 7 a.m. today in downtown Plymouth.

There will be a 10K, 5K and monster mile run, which all start and finish in Kellogg Park.

Entertainment includes an onstage dance performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
