Novi Homecoming Could Slow Friday Evening Traffic
Temporary road closures for Novi's homecoming parade could cause traffic delays Friday evening.
Commuters who expect to travel in the area of 10 Mile and Taft roads Friday evening may experience some delays, according to the Novi Police Department. Police issued an alert Thursday that Novi's homecoming parade will cause delays between 5 and 6 p.m. Friday.
The parade begins at 5 p.m. on Taft, just south of 11 Mile Road and continues south to Novi High School, which is south of 10 Mile Road.
Novi Police will be directing traffic and at times closing roads to for the safety of those in the parade. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes between 5 and 6 p.m.
