Orange Barrel Update: Paving on Fralick, Forest to Begin Friday

Roads should be open to vehicle traffic by late Friday; parking should resume Saturday.

Road paving that had been planned for Saturday at Fralick Street and Forest Avenue in downtown Plymouth now will take place Friday morning, according to John Buzuvis, director of business operations and special projects for the City of Plymouth Downtown Development Authority.

Buzuvis said work will begin about 6:30 a.m. on Forest Avenue then, while the resurfaced road is settling, crews will begin work on Fralick Street. Forest Avenue and Fralick Street both are expected to be opened up to vehicle traffic by late Friday, while parking on both roads is expected to be allowed by Saturday.

The repaving is the latest phase of the city's downtown road project, which had its first stage begin in the middle of April. This phase of the project began earlier this month.
