Patch Picks: Super Bowl Crawl

Here are a few great places in town to watch the big game on Sunday.

Patch Picks is a new feature that will run each Thursday, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off, and more.

This week's theme is "Super Bowl Crawl" and we'll highlight five great places in Plymouth to watch Sunday's big game. Do you know of another? Let us know in the comments.

  • This Plymouth dining staple is holding its fifth annual Super Bowl Party Sunday, which includes a sprawling food buffet consisting of everything from chicken wings to fancy hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are $25 and include two drink tickets, all the food you can eat and black jack and roulette.
  • The big screens at the Ironwood Grill always make it a great place to watch any game. The menu of upscale bar food is the perfect compliment to football. We recommend the pizza.
  • This intimate bar and grill on Penniman Avenue is packed with sports fans on any given weekend, and Super Bowl Sunday will be no exception. Grab a burger or a pulled pork sandwich and settle in to cheer on your favorite team.
  • Plymouth's original Irish pub, Doyle's is a place where local sports fans gather regularly. This Super Bowl Sunday, you can get all Miller products, Cornona and Corona Lights for $2.
  • This Old Village institution is packed during every Sunday football game, and Super Bowl Sunday will be no exception. Order some loaded nachos supreme and cheer to your heart's content.
