Here is the complete listing of events for the 2013 Plymouth Ice Festival, which begins Jan. 18.

Friday, Jan. 18:  Kellogg Park Area

3 p.m. to 10 p.m.:  Festival area open

  • Greenhills School Ice Skating Rink in Kellogg Park
  • DTE Energy Hot Spot demo and market area
  • Blue Care Network of Michigan Family Fun Winter Sports Zone presented by Sun and Snow Sports in Kellogg Park
  • Interactive sculptures and ice carvings available for viewing and photo opportunities in and around downtown Plymouth

7 p.m.: Opening Ceremony presented by Eastern Michigan University at the Community Financial Main Stage

  • City Officials
  • State Officials
  • Special guests and surprises
  • Cutting of the Ice Ribbon
  • Special performance by the Eastern Michigan University choir

8 p.m.:  Fire and Ice Towers are lit in Kellogg Park

10 p.m.:  Main festival area closes

3 p.m. to 10 p.m.: ACO Hardware Made in Michigan Marketplace on Forest Avenue

6 p.m. to Midnight:  AGA Nation Downtown Rail Jam at EG Nicks on Forest Avenue

  • Open riding and demos all evening long

6 p.m. to Midnight:  MGM Grand Party Lot Lodge open with live music, giveaways and drink specials

Saturday, Jan. 19:  Kellogg Park Area

10 a.m. to 10 p.m.:  Festival open

Noon to 3 p.m.:  College Individual Carving Competition begins in Kellogg Park presented by Genisys Credit Union

1 p.m. to 4 p.m.:  Free arts and crafts projects provided by Tutor Time of Plymouth in the DTE Energy Hot Spot

3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.:  Sun and Snow Sports Winter Fashion Show on the Community Financial Main Stage

  • The Winter Fashion show highlights New Year trends for outerwear by brands such as Lole and Icebreaker!  Learn all about the new looks, get your gear questions answered and score some free giveaways!

4:30pm:  College Individual Carving Competition Awards Ceremony on the Community Financial Main Stage

7 p.m.:  Dueling Chainsaws Speed Carving show on the Community Financial Main Stage

8 p.m.:  Fire and Ice Towers are lit in Kellogg Park

10 p.m.:  Main festival area closes

Saturday, Jan. 19:  Forest Avenue Area

10 a.m. to 10 p.m.:  AGA Nation Rail Jam on Forest Avenue presented by Svedka Vodka, Tuaca and Gordon Food Service

  • AGA Nation Ski and Snowboard Clinic on Forest Avenue

6 p.m. to 7 p.m.:  AGA Nation Downtown Rail Jam at E.G. Nicks on Forest Avenue – registration and open riding

6 p.m. to Midnight:  MGM Grand Party Lot Lodge open with live music, giveaways and drink specials

7 p.m. to 8 p.m.:  AGA Nation Downtown Rail Jam at E.G. Nick's on Forest Avenue – advanced and intermediate competitions

8 p.m. to 9 p.m.:  AGA Nation Downtown Rail Jam at E.G. Nick's on Forest Avenue – open break, course grooming and course maintenance

9 p.m. to 11 p.m.:  AGA Nation Downtown Rail Jam at E.G. Nick's on Forest Avenue – riding demonstrations and Main Event Finals Competition

11 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.:  AGA Nation Downtown Rail Jam at E.G. Nick's on Forest Avenue – Awards Presentation and final demos
