Power Outage Affecting 68 People in Plymouth West of Ridge Road

DTE says power should be restored by this afternoon.

A minor power outage has been reported in the mobile home subdivision west of Ridge Road in Plymouth, according to a DTE outage map.

According to the outage map, about 68 people are affected.

Plymouth-Canton Patch user "Lori Citizen" said in a post that the outage happened Thursday night and remains out, and several senior citizens are affected because of 95-degree temperatures today.

"We have a lot of elderly suffering in this heat," she wrote. "We got a generator today to save our food."

Scott Simons of DTE Energy said because the outage affected fewer than 200 customers, the outage was not considered significant, but he said power should be restored this afternoon.
