Spring Break, Lawmakers' Coffee
Canton Township administration will get a 4-day weekend, including a furlough day.
- Students from Plymouth-Canton and Wayne-Westland community schools as well as Van Buren Public Schools are on spring break this week. Classes for all three districts resume on April 26.

- Canton's Downtown Development Authority meets at 8 a.m. Wednesday in Township Supervisor Phil LaJoy's office, in the .
- Canton Township's administrative offices will be closed Friday for the Easter holiday and remain closed on April 25 as a furlough day.
- has a slew of environmental awareness programs this week in advance of Earth Day. Kids can learn about Everything Green starting at 11 a.m. today and adults can hear about vegetarian meals at 7 p.m. today.
