Storms Knock Out Power for Thousands of Plymouth and Hundreds of Canton DTE Customers

More than 70,000 metro Detroiters are without power following Thursday's thunderstorms.

More than 2,000 Plymouth residents and 400 Canton residents have been left without power Thursday afternoon, in the wake of a severe spring storm. 

According to the DTE Energy outage map, 2,141 customers in the 48170 zip code and 422 customers in the 48187 zip code are without power. Roughly four customers were also reporting outages in the 48188 zip code.
