Tomorrow is Halloween: Local Trick-or-Treating Times

Here are local trick-or-treating times in Plymouth, Plymouth Township and Canton.

Costumed children will hit local neighborhoods Wednesday seeking candy while trick-or-treating for Halloween.

As of Tuesday, weather conditions stemming from Hurricane Sandy have not deterred local trick-or-treating plans.

City of Plymouth

Trick-or-Treating in the City of Plymouth will be between the hours of 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Plymouth Township

Plymouth Township does not have set hours for trick-or-treating.

Canton Township

Canton Township does not have set trick-or-treating hours.

While Plymouth Township and Canton did not set trick-or-treating hours, the City of Plymouth's times should serve as an outline for appropriate trick-or-treating times. 

Trick-or-treaters in Canton can get an early start today, however, with an event from 4-7 p.m. at Summit on the Park featuring various goodies and surprises. Each child 12 and under must have a ticket to participate, available in advance from the front desk at the Summit for $2, or $5 at the door. Open to Canton Township residents. 

Halloween forecast: Cold, possibly wet

Expect a cold and cloudy Wednesday afternoon with light showers in the morning and a chance of light showers in the afternoon, according to WeatherBug. Highs of 42-46 and northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 60 percent.

Trick-or-treating time will be met with a chance of light showers. Lows 33-37 and northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 30 percent.
