Historic school building will serve as alternative high school until end of school year.

When the Plymouth-Canton Board of Education voted , it also voted to close , an alternative school in Plymouth's Old Village area. The program will move into the former Fiegel location.

The move will leave the historic Starkweather building vacant and still in the district's possession.

While outdated by modern schools' standards, the building still is functional and stable and could feasibly be repurposed if someone comes along with an idea — and some money to take the building off the school district's hands.
