Weekend Countdown: 'Santa Lives!'

Let's start our Monday looking ahead to the next weekend. First up, a family friendly choice:

When: 7 p.m. Dec. Thursday-Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Why Go: Spotlight on Youth presents Santa Lives! Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus. The show is inspired by the letter a young girl wrote to the New York Times, and editor Francis R. Church's response editorial that there is. In this play, young Virginia loses her holiday spirit when her classmates mock the holiday play she writes, but she gets her cheer back thanks to a surprise visitor. After the show, Santa will stop by so kids can get a photo taken with him, at a cost of $5
