Laughter on the Night After

  • Where:

  • Pricing: $15-$20
  • Why Go: Enjoy a night of comedy, magic and music for one and all, featuring Detroit's Billy Ray Bauer, the U.K.'s Keith Fields, and the George Brothers Band. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Great Lakes Burn Camp.

Family Game Day

  • Where:
  • When: 1-3 p.m. Saturday
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: Enjoy a break from the shopping frenzy and stop by for some board game fun. Plus you'll get to make your own game to take home so the family can play whenever they'd like.

Cairn to Cairn Concert

  • Where: Village Theater at Cherry Hill
  • When: 8 p.m. Saturday
  • Pricing: $17
  • Why Go: Ann Arbor's Cairn to Cairn trio will perform a selection of holiday music with a touch of Celtic flair (and more) this weekend.

Book Fair Supports the Library

  • Where:
  • When: 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday
  • Pricing: Varies
  • Why Go: Though it's not technically the weekend, if you'd like to support the Canton Public Library you can by shopping at Barnes & Noble on Monday and bring the voucher (click on the headline link above) so your purchase helps the organization.

More events

  • Red Ryder Christmas continues with "A Christmas Story" and era-specific nostalgia, at the the Wednesday-Synday through Dec; 31. $5 adults, $2 students.
  • Walk of Trees continues daily at , with trees adorned by families, service clubs, groups and businesses. Free to see.
