Live Music at Plymouth Coffee Bean Company

- Why Go: Plymouth Coffee Bean Company has a lot of great music going on, with regular shows and open mic nights -- the perfect way to sip and listen locally. Tonight post-hardcore/pop/punk band Drawn To Fury (based in Novi) and Canton's own alternative group Taking Flight will perform.
It's a Wonderful Life
- Where:
- When: 7 p.m. today-Sunday, 9:30 p.m. today and Saturday, 4:30 p.m. Sunday
- Pricing: $3
- Why Go: You've seen the 1946 Frank Capra classic starring Jimmy Stewart on TV countless times, no doubt. Now take advantage and see it on the big screen at the Penn Theatre, part of its holiday classics offerings. And it's for a very nostalgic $3.
Little Women: The Musical
- Where: Village Theater at Cherry Hill
- When: 7 p.m. today-Sunday, 9:30 p.m. today, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 9:30 a.m. Monday
- Pricing: $15
- Why Go: Louisa May Alcott's classic novel, Little Women, has been adapted into a stage musical. Folow the adventures of the four March sisters as they grow up in Civil War America. Presented by Forever After Productions.
The Nutcracker
- Where:
- When: 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday
- Pricing: $20 adults, $15 children 12 and under. To participate in the Sugar Plum Parade, post-show, is $3
- Why Go: Follow young Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they battle the Rat King, journey to the lands of snow and sweets, all set to the beautiful compositions of Tchaikovsky and danced by members of the Plymouth-Canton Ballet. It's a can't-miss holiday classic.
