2D Multi-Media Exploration

July 28-Aug 1 1:00-3:00pm M-F
Ages 10-16 Cost $55

Exploration of two-dimensional art for those with deep interest in advancing their artistic abilities. Students will learn from professional fantasy book illustrator Kirbi Fagan. Class will focus on fine art techniques using a variety of mediums including, drawing, painting and printmaking. Students will create artwork in both realistic and expressive matter with exposure to elements of design. Emphasis on the development of visual awareness, technique, and creativity. Drawing Realism from Observation – Graphite Pencil, Colored Pencils & Watercolor
Design - How to create a composition with abstract forms – Cut Paper & Printmaking
Creating complex Zines, zentangles and typography – Pen & Marker
Drawing People & Caricatures
Spontaneous sketching – Pencil, Pen & Paint
