Canton Lions Club Corn Roast

Canton Lions Club, as it has done for many years, will hold its annual corn roast on August 24th from 11 am- 3 pm.. The corn is roasted slowly after soaking in water the night before and served with hot dogs, baked beans, ice cream, snow cones cotton candy and watermelon all for a $5 donation.
There will be a raffle with two cash prizes. 1. $500 2. $200 3. Gift Certificate for $100 from N. A. Mans Lumber. So stop by and get your raffle ticket for $5. and take a chance and you may be the winner.
This event is a fund raiser for the Canton Lions who buy many pairs of eye glasses for kids throughout the Belleville and Canton communities whose parents are not able to. Support also goes to the Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Great Detroit Agency for the Blind and college scholarships for blind and hearing impaired students are just a few charities we assist.
