Canton, MI---The holiday season is approaching with the usual tasks of shopping, decorating, cooking, and entertaining.  This year, start a new tradition savoring a few hours with friends and family at the Cherry Hill Theater.  “A Christmas Carol-The Musical”, presented by Forever After Productions, promises fun for all ages.   This musical rendition of the familiar novella by Charles Dickens will whisk you away to London England during the 17th century.  Travel with Ebeneezer Scrooge (Rennie Kaufmann-Plymouth, MI) and The Ghosts of Christmas Past (Sara Garzynski-Canton, MI), Present (Connor Rhoades-Plymouth, MI), and future (Sherrie Northway-Redford, MI) to renew the true spirit of the season.

 “A Christmas Carol-The Musical” premiered in the Paramount Theatre at Madison Square Garden, New York City, on December 1, 1994 and ran annually through 2003.  Song highlights  include: Link By Link, God Bless Us Everyone, Abundance and Charity, and Christmas Together.  The show will run: November 29-December 2, 2012.


With the expansion of Forever After Productions season and facilities, new faces have joined the production staff.  Allison Hunt, graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Performing Arts, brings her expertise to directing Christmas Carol along with Michael Gross (artistic director and conductor of BeckRridge Chorale, Cherry Hill Singers, and Village Voices) from Canton as the musical director.  Holly Platis, currently working on a music therapy degree at Eastern Michigan University, is the stage manager.  Co-owner and producer, Kyle Kaufmann, will orchestrate the technical design, flying, and special effects while Debby Ash, co-owner and producer, will choreograph the dance sequences.
