Baby Sign & Play Classes

Baby Sign & Play Classes are for ages 0-3 and parent.  8 week interactive sessions for one hour.  Price is $80 and includes parent manual and class material.  Class engages babies/toddlers and parents through music, Sign Language, bonding with others, and stories.

My name is Sara Ghioto, Advanced Signing Time Instructor through the nationally acclaimed “Signing Time Academy” and local owner of Signing Grace, LLC.  Signing Grace LLC, is a locally based extension of Signing Time Academy, offering classes, as well as sign language workshops, story time sessions, and sales of official Signing Time merchandise, including DVDs, CDs, board books, flash cards, and more.

The “Signing Time Academy”, along with their parent company “Two Little Hands Productions”, has been promoting the fun and benefits of early childhood sign language education through the award-winning “Signing Time,”  “Baby Signing Time,” and “Potty Time” programs.  The teaching model uses engaging music, colorful visuals, and interactive story telling to make American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary fun and easy to remember for babies and young children.  Many studies show that children who can hear and are developmentally age appropriate still use their hands to communicate
before they can talk.  Sign language has been shown to enhance baby’s memory, reduced toddlers’ frustration, and strongly benefit children with special needs.  In fact, Dr. Claire Vallotton of Michigan State University recently
published a white paper compiling over 20 years of research on the benefits of early childhood ASL education (available at www.signingtime.com/resources/sign-language-research/).
