The Maple Syrup Experience at Maybury Farm

MAYBURY FARM MAPLE SYRUP TOURS ARE HERE-- IT'S FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Tours are Saturday's and Sunday's at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm through April 13, 2014.

Are the kids going stir crazy after a long Michigan winter?  Looking for a fun weekend activity for the family?  Ever wondered how delicious maple syrup gets made?  Well look no further!  The Maple Syrup Experience at Maybury Farm is this weekend! 

Take a hayride out to our sugar bush to see how the trees are tapped and the sap is collected.  Then, take the sap back to the evaporator and our Sugar Shack to watch how maple syrup gets made.  You not only get to learn how make maple syrup, but you also get to participate in the process!

After the tour, head to our Welcome Center to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and purchase some delicious Michigan Maple Syrup.  We also have FREE maple syrup recipes for you to take home.

Tours are held promptly at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm each Saturday and Sunday through April 13.  This event is huge hit each year and hundreds of families participate so don't miss out!

Admission is $6 per person, children 2 and under are free.  Make sure to dress warmly and wear boots.

Maybury Farm is located at 50165 8 Mile Rd in Northville.  It is 1-1/4 mile west of Beck Road on 8 Mile, 1/2 mile west of Maybury State Park.  Enter at the Maybury FARM sign, do not enter the State Park.  Parking is FREE at Maybury Farm.  For more information please visit www.northvillecommunityfoundation.org or www.facebook.com/maybury.farm
