Five Sparrows Brings "Passport" Activity to Hartland Heritage Day

Michigan website and marketing firm Five Sparrows, LLC is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a “passport” activity for kids at this year’s Hartland Heritage Day Festival on September 21, 2013.  To participate, kids can follow a map to five historic Hartland locations, and get their passports “stamped” with stickers.  Completed passports are then entered into a drawing to win a new bike and other great prizes.

To participate, children (and their families) can stop by the Five Sparrows booth on Avon Street to pick up a passport, then follow the map to the sites listed inside the passport. Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m., and participants do not need to be present to win.

“We are new residents of downtown Hartland,” said Lauren Hobson, President of Five Sparrows, “and we are really excited to be a part of the Heritage Day Festival this year.  In addition to the passport activity for kids, we are also participating in the annual Scarecrow Contest, so we are already planning something very special for our front porch!.”

Hartland Heritage Day celebrates the unique history and traditions of the Hartland area and its residents, past and present. Local organizations and businesses participate with booths along Avon Street, and additional events, contests, and historical exhibits (like a quilt and fiber show) are scheduled to run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Downtown Hartland.  The event is free.
