Canton Walmart Donates School Supplies to Plymouth Salvation Army

Walmart donated two pallets of school supplies, plus an additional grant to spend in store on other items needed for programs.

Last week was a blessing for the Salvation Army Plymouth Corps when it received a large donation from Walmart on Ford Road in Canton.

Walmart donated two pallets full of school supplies, plus they gave an additional grant to spend in the store on items the Plymouth Corps needed for other programs.

In addition, Walmart helped fill another grant the Salvation Army received from Community Financial Credit Union to purchase new coats for children this winter.  Plymouth Coprps staff spent all Friday morning and part of the afternoon shopping at Walmart.

Everything is boxed and bagged up, but the Salvation Army is looking for assistance with sorting it all through. For more information, contact Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator Sandy Kollinger at 734-453-5464 or visit the Plymouth Corps online at www.misalplymouth.org.
