Thank You, Ford Motor Company Volunteers!

We simply could not provide the end-of-life experiences of dignity, comfort and peace without all of our amazing volunteers.

On behalf of the Boards of Directors, employees, patients and families of Arbor Hospice, I want to send a heartfelt thank you this holiday season to Ford Motor Company’s outstanding team of 152 volunteers.  These dedicated volunteers provided more than 1,216 hours of volunteer work at Arbor Hospice this year alone.

Eleven volunteer groups from Ford visited The Residence of Arbor Hospice in Ann Arbor, with the majority volunteering their time as well as hands (and hearts) to help maintain the agency’s extensive 8-acre grounds, including summer gardens that our patients, families, and employees utilize throughout the season.

We are so appreciative of these men and women taking time out of their day, some on several occasions, to make the lives of terminally-ill patients and their families just a little bit brighter as they face the end-of-life journey.
