Who Won Our Michigan Patch Fall Photo Contest? Check It Out

Here's who won the $100 gas card when we asked Michigan Patch readers to share signs of fall.

Amy Justice's shot from a family football face-off won our 2012 fall photo contest.

The winning photo, chosen at random from more than 270 entries, snagged her a $100 gas card (which surely will come in handy for driving to all of those football games!).

Justice says the photo was taken after the Oct. 13, 2011, matchup between the Plymouth High and the Northville High freshmen. For their family, it was also cousin. vs. cousin—with Kevin Justice, #44 of Plymouth, on one side of the field and her son, Alex Justice, #76 of Northville, on the other.

"He was very proud of the win as you can see by the smile on his face," Justice says of her son. "Grandma and Grandpa Justice were in attendance, as well, and were very proud of both boys. Aunt Jenny even drove in from Clarkston to watch the game. This was a big event in our family! Alex and Kevin have both been playing football since elementary school. This was their first football game competing against one another."

Thanks for entering, everyone—and congrats to Amy!
