Many weight loss program advertisements stress turning your metabolism into a fat-burning machine by the foods that you eat and subscribing to certain systems and methods of ingesting the food.   Well, how about making your body more efficient at utilizing nutrients and ridding itself of waste and useless foods in the first place? How do you do that?

The human body is wonderfully made to process foods, respond and adapt to stresses put on it and all of its systems.   That is, if we constantly set it up to do so. It will also negatively adapt to non-use, as well, so make the positive choice to work your muscles with consistency and intensity.

Muscle fiber needs to be stretched, flexed, stressed, nourished, and rested for it to function and thrive.   This mix of activities is what keeps them in good health and makes it possible to enjoy pain-free physical motion long into the aging years of life.  

It is known that muscle that has purposefully been put through all five of the actions mentioned above on a regular basis will respond by burning stored fat for energy. Now, that is turning your body into a fat-burning machine.
