Ready for Christmas? Five Places to Sip and Sup

Most eateries are closed on Dec. 25, but if you must venture out for fuel, here's a hint: Fortune cookies and a couple of chain restaurants will save the day.

Just about everyone is open Christmas Eve, but the real challenge is who is open Christmas Day. Sure, your corner 7-11 will never let you down when you're seeking a last-minute carton of half-and-half, but what if you seek a bit more than a quick dash in and out of a shop?

Here are some places that will be open Christmas Day.

Asian Buffet & Sushi

44763 Five Mile Road, Plymouth
734-254-9800
When the neighbor's dogs devoured the turkey in "A Christmas Story," the family opted to dine at a Chinese restaurant. That logic sticks: Asian Buffet & Sushi will be open from 11:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Christmas Day.
