Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) is a world famous American Architect that designed "The best all time work of American Architecture" which was refering to the home in Pennsylvania known as "Falling Water".
Well, Mr. Wright also designed not one but two homes here in Plymouth. 12305 Beck Road built in 1941 for Carlton D. Wall (known as Snowflake) and 12221 Beck Road was built in 1953 for Louis H. Goddard.
Both homes are gated and well hidden amongst trees and folliage. Photos of these homes are a challenge to get. The photos attached to this post are photos from years past. Another interesting note is the fact that these homes at one time were owned by Tom Monaghan (entrepreneur of Domino's Pizza fame). The "Snowflake" house is on the historical registry. There isn't much to see from the road but you can find interesting facts and additional photos on-line.
