LIVONIA RESIDENT'S SUPPORT OF SALVATION ARMY IS REWARDED
Salvation Army Bed & Bread Club supporter rewarded.
Nancy Sinelli’s intent on the morning of February 22 wasn’t
to soon take delivery of a 2013 Ford Fusion.
She simply wanted to support The Salvation Army’s Bed & Bread Club
with a donation during WJR’s 16-hour Radiothon.
But Nancy’s generosity was rewarded by The Suburban Collection when she was
randomly selected from the thousands of WJR listeners and Salvation Army
supporters who made a donation or stopped by WJR’s live broadcast that day at
the Oakland Mall.
“I was really was surprised by a messagel I received from a Salvation Army
representative following the Radiothon as I had called in my donation early that
morning and wasn’t aware that The Suburban Collection was donating a two-year
lease of a new Fusion,” Sinelli said. “Then I got a call from Nicole Elder at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights and I knew the message from the Salvation Army wasn’t a prank. Needless to say, I was delighted.”
