4. Bewildered by the I-275 construction? Check live traffic on Patch

We're hearing complaints about traversing northbound on Interstate 275 as construction causes traffic jams. If you're trying to time your commute right or explore detours, check the Canton Patch "Commute" page (check here for Plymouth) for live traffic. We also have current gas prices listed, so you can fill up before you head out!

3. Hines Park dog park to close for reseeding

The dog park at Hines Park will close from May 1-May 25 to plant new grass. It will be unavailable for use during this time.

Additionally, registration for the park's 2012 season will begin May 1, according to an email from park officials. The fee this year will increase to $20, up from its previous fee of $5.

Applicants can apply for a park pass at Nankin Mills, 33175 Ann Arbor Trail. They will need to bring the dog's city or township dog license and vaccination records.
