The Plymouth City Commission voted Monday to reject a rezoning application for the property at 909 N. Sheldon Road. What would you like to see in its place?

An unpopular rezoning request for the property at 909 N. Sheldon Road in Plymouth was rejected Monday by the Plymouth City Commission.

Situated over several acres, applicant Grand Sakwa, LLC had hoped to rezone the bank-owned property into a general business category, but with conditions allowing larger signage and additional building height.

With the rejection, the future use of the property remains uncertain.
