Bentivolio's Incompetance Costs Canton $148 million Institute

Today, Canton lost a lot jobs due to the incompetence of our Congressman, Kerry Bentivolio. A $148 million Research and Manufacturing Institute slated for Canton was snatched up by Detroit due to problems securing a lease for the Institute in Canton.

This would not have happened if I were representing the 11 the District right now! I have been talking about this Canton Light Metals institute on my campaign as a model for how we can rebuild our economy with renewable energy jobs. All my opponents say the word "jobs" but never get specific. I do - It is Kerry Bentivolio's fault that $148 million worth of dedicated funding into Canton got picked off by Detroit because there was a lease problem. If Congressman Bentivolio can't even serve the bacon that was already brought home as a gift from the administration and isn't in the District campaigning, what good is he?

Bentivolio needs to go and voters need to elect someone who is on top of issues. I met just last night with in Waterford, with residents from a number of surrounding communities concerned about fracking.  It was not a campaign event it was what a good congressperson would and should be doing, helping people BEFORE bad things happen. Residents are talking about this issue from White Lake to Waterford to Rochester.  Properties threatened by Jordan Oil include pricey properties in Cass Lake to Upper Straight Lakes. I am outraged that Canton has lost this valuable opportunity and even more determined to win so this kind of thing never happens again.
