A String of Vehicle Break-Ins Hits a Plymouth Township Neighborhood

Stolen items included jewelry, iPads and a designer purse.

A Plymouth Township neighborhood experienced a string of vehicle break-ins overnight from Oct. 11 to Oct. 12, according to a police report. 

A homeowner on E. Fellows Creek Drive reported two cars broken into that night. 

The rear passenger window of a Lincoln MKX and the front passenger window of a Ford Expedition were smashed out while the cars were parked in the home driveway. An apple iPad valued at $400 and $20 worth of assorted U.S. coins were stolen from the cars, the report said.

Another car on Fellows Creek Drive also suffered damage during the night. 

The owner reported the window of her Lincoln Navigator had been smashed out while the car was parked overnight in his driveway. The owner told police she didn't hear anything during the night, the report said.

Items stolen included a Luis Vuitton purse valued at $2,000, a matching Luis Vuitton wallet valued at $600, an iPad valued at $700 and $100 cash in assorted U.S. bills.

A third victim on Powell Ridge Court reported her passenger side rear window broken and assorted jewelry stolen from inside, the report said.

The woman, a Stella and Dot representative, reported approximately 20 Stella and Dot 14-carat gold-plated sterling silver costume jewelry bracelets stolen. The bracelets were worth approximately $1,000 to $2,000, the report said.

In addition, a man on Ash Court reported the front passenger window of his car was broken out during the same night. The man told police there was a six-inch long scratch on the front passenger door, but nothing was missing from his car, the report said.
