Superintendent Jeremy Hughes said students were not allowed outside for the duration of the lockdown.

Allen Elementary School went on a "soft lockdown" today as police chased two people through the neighborhood surrounding the school.

The people are suspected of stealing mail from mailboxes, according to Plymouth Township Police.
