Bike Stolen Outside Kmart in Plymouth Township

The following information was provided by the Plymouth Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

responded Aug. 28 at 3:31 p.m. to a report of larceny outside Kmart, 40855 Ann Arbor Road, according to a police report. 

A black Kink BMX style bike with lime green handlebars was taken, the report said. The owner of  the bike said he left his bike outside Kmart and returned five minutes later to find the bike was gone, according to the report. Police do not have a suspect.

Suspicious Tampering of Plymouth Township Resident's Vehicle

Plymouth Township Police responded Aug. 28 at 7:34 a.m. to a call from a woman on the 14000 block of Brougham Ct. about suspicious tampering to her silver 2000 Chevrolet Blazer, according to a police report.

The owner of the vehicle said there have been at least 15 incidents of her vehicle's battery being dead when she tried to start it in the morning, according to the report. She said someone popped the rear glass hatch so that the interior light turned on, the report said. She has taken the vehicle to the mechanic who determined there is nothing wrong with the battery. Police have no suspects.

M&M Display Stolen from CVS

Plymouth Township Police responded Sep. 3 at 4:45 a.m. to a report of larceny at , 1400 South Sheldon Road, according to a police report.

The manager said that four males came into the CVS and bought beer and other merchandise, according to the police report. The males asked about buying a large yellow M&M display that was in the store, and the manager said it was not for sale. The manager discovered later in the morning that the display was gone, the report said. He checked the store's surveillance video and saw one of the four males grab the M&M display and leave, according to the report.
