Plymouth Township Police responded Dec. 11 to Joy Road for a report of a breaking and entering of a detached garage, according to a police report.

A man living at the residence told police he parked his 1997 silver Cadillac in his detached garage on Nov. 28, the report said. On Dec. 11, he told police, he noticed the garage had been broken into by an unknown person, the report said. The man told police the back window of the garage had been boarded up and the board was removed from the window, the report said. Inside the garage, the man told police, the rear passenger side window of the Cadillac had been broken out, the report said, but nothing was missing from the garage or vehicle.

The man told police he was not living at the residence at the time, but stored the car in the garage and said there had been previous break-ins at the garage in the past, the report indicated.
