Canton Assisted Living Worker Charged with Stealing Jewelry from Patients

Westland resident Gail Lynn Good faces two felony larceny charges.

A Westland woman faces two felony larceny charges after police say she stole jewelry from assisted living patients where she worked.

Gail Lynn Good, 45, was arraigned Thursday morning in 35th District Court. 

Police began their investigation after being notified that a resident at Crystal Creek, an assisted living center on Lilley Road in Canton, was missing jewelry.

Good was an employee of the facility at the time of the theft.

The felony charges are both punishable by up to four years in prison.

District Court Judge Michael J. Gerou set Good’s bond at $3,000, with a preliminary exam date of Friday, Nov. 1.
