Canton Assisted Living Worker Guilty of Stealing from Dementia Patient

Gail Lynn Good, 45, of Westland, could face up to four years in prison.

A Westland woman pled guilty to one count of larceny after police said she stole jewelry from dementia patients while working in Canton assisted living facility, the Canton Observer reported

Gail Lynn Good, 45, was arraigned in October on two felony larceny charges. Police began their investigation after being notified that a resident at Crystal Creek, an assisted living center on Lilley Road in Canton, was missing jewelry.

The second charge of larceny was dropped after Good agreed to plead guilty to one count, the Observer reported. 

Good could face penalties of up to four years in prison.
