Incidents recorded on May 28 and 29.

On May 28 and 29, Canton Police responded to the following incidents, according to Canton Township's reports to crimemapping.com:

May 28

  • At 1:08 a.m., a person suspected of driving while intoxicated by alcohol in the 500 block of South Lilley Road.
  • At 3:41 a.m. a person suspected of driving while intoxicated by alcohol near the intersection of Ashbourne Drive and Ford Road.
  • At 2 p.m., the report of an armed robbery (pocketknife) on the street at South Haggerty Road near the Cherry Hill Road intersection.

May 29

  • At 2:07 a.m., a person suspected of driving while intoxicated by alcohol on the 41800 block of Ford Road.
  • At 3:01 p.m. May 28, the report of a burglary (home invasion, no forced entry) in the 42500 block of Saltz Road, at 3:01 p.m.
  • At 11 p.m., a person suspected of possessing heroin, near the corner of Buckingham Road and Cherry Hill Road.

Anyone having information on these or other incidents can provide information anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 800-SPEAKUP (800-773-2587) or visiting the   website and clicking the "Speak Up" link. Tips leading to an arrest will result in a cash reward up to $1,000.
