Canton Police kept busy with cases of burglary, vehicle theft, drug possession, drivers operating under the influence and home invasion.

According to 's reports and other reports to crimemapping.com,  officers responded to the following incidents:

June 24

  • At 1:55 a.m., a driver suspected of operating under the influence of alcohol near Ford and North Haggerty roads.
  • At 2 a.m., a report of vehicle theft in the 8000 block of Honeytree Blvd. 
  • At 6:36 a.m., a report of malicious destruction of property in the 1900 block of Centennial Dr.

June 25

  • At 2:58 a.m., a case of suspected marijuana possession and a driver suspected of operating under the influence of alcohol near Michigan Avenue and South Beck Road.
  • Between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m., a report of a home invasion and burglary in the 200 block of Streamview Court; a laptop and diamond jewelry were reported stolen from the unlocked home.

June 26

  • At 2:09 a.m., a case of a driver suspected of operating under the influence of alcohol near Westminister Way and Runnymeade Drive.
  • At 6 p.m., an uncooperative individual on foot near the block of 1100 South Canton Center Road found to have several outstanding warrants from Canton Township, including possession of marijuana, who was then arrested. 

June 27

  • At 12:28 a.m., a case of suspected marijuana possession near Geddes Road and Kimberly Drive.
  • At 2 a.m., a case of suspected marijuana possession near Michigan Avenue and South Lilley Road.

Tips leading to an arrest will result in a cash reward of up to $1,000.
