Man has been missing since Friday morning, according to police.

A 56-year-old disabled man has wandered from his home; Canton Township Police Department issued a statement Saturday morning asking the public's help in finding him.

David Michael Davis is described by police as a white man, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with blue eyes and gray hair. He left his home, near Haggerty Road, south of Michigan Avenue and north of Van Born at about 8:30 a.m. Friday, police said.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue zip-up hoodie over a white T-shirt with a black graphic design on it. Davis does not drive and typically travels on foot, police said. Though disabled, he does speak and may respond to questions or greetings, police said.
